Genius and Creativity
Elizabeth Gilbert (who wrote Eat, Pray, Love, a really wonderful book my sweetie loaned to me) gave a TED talk earlier this year.
She gives a very comforting and illuminating review of the creative process, and how we approach it. If you have a spare twenty minutes, it’s a thought-opener for sure. Here ’tis:

I finally had time to watch this.
I know my own imagination makes me think you sent this to me for inspiration. A “creative person’s” ego makes me think so.
I do wish to be more daring…not sure about the God part, but I do believe in divine intervention (to me there is a difference, probably just a matter of definitions).
I grab the tail all the time! I fear my creativity all the time!
Thanks so much for sharing.
I have to go watch it again now.
