You two are right; it might be the best.
Enough with 2006; it was a year of extremes. Let's shoot the middle now, shall we?

FWIW... I liked the soundman thingy, and by far the rest of the world did too; it was the most read by almost an order of magnitude. This list is the "by email response" version.
Thanks. As I grow older, I hope to be more substantive.

Truthout has a great article on Dubya's psychology; it rings true. I left it with the small epiphany: that I've always known this fool; he's the guy who stomped on frogs down at the creek and beat up on smaller (never larger) children when we were kids. There are a million of 'em out there, bur they rarely achieve any kind of power. Too bad for us.

Have a warm and peaceful winter's eve, friends.

I'm not sure what to call this article. An exposé on the state of religious fundamentalism in The U.S.? In any case, it is long, it's comprehensive, and it is very much worth every citizen's time, religious or not. I'd be inclined to put it in the required reading category.

Sir. Step away from the blog, Sir.
I'm retooling a bunch of stuff, and I won't be writing anything for awhile. Check back monthly. :)
