Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur.
He thinks that the lyrics "Ain't good lookin', but I ain't shy; Ain't afraid to look a girl in the eye" are irrelevant. I told him that they would be extraordinarily relevant, very, very soon.
The Testosterone Years are coming. Dad is getting ready to be the most stupid man in the universe for a few years...
Wish me luck...

I am no fan of Christopher Hitchens; I think that he has an historically bad case of situational ethics as well as an odious politically convenient philosophical malleability. But in this case, I can agree with him. He starts by calling Falwell a "little toad" and then tells us what he really thinks.
May the little toad's God have mercy on him. We who live in the world that he left behind have no obligation to do so.

My email was mucked up for the last couple of days; it seems to be fixed now. If you see any further issues, you can get in touch with me by mailing to "production" at the club where I work and let me know.

Can someone tell me why we are hearing daily reportage on the 2008 presidential campaign? The election is eighteen months away. Yet we're seeing coverage appropriate for next summer.
Make it go away, please.

Most of you know I live a sort of right-brain left-brain life; computer geek by day, audio/musician guy by night. I keep 'em pretty hermetically sealed off from one another. Very few clients of either discipline know about my work in the other.
This is pretty much one reason... (scroll down for the "10 Reasons It Doesnt Pay To Be The Computer Guy")
C'est la vie. There is a mirror-image corollary that I should write, to be called "10 Reasons It Doesn't Pay To Be The Audio Guy." For example, when I get "found out," all of the computer people that I know seem to think that I know the best home entertainment speaker system to buy...
Fact of the matter is: I don't know nuthin'. About either. Don't tell anyone.
